INTERCULTURAL DAY 2018
We held our bi-annual Intercultural Day on Thursday 19th April. We had parents from 16 different countires and cultures represented in the hall. All the children in the school visited the hall during the day. The volunteers put in huge effort creating fabulous displays, cooking delicious food and showcasing their country/culture to everyone. The children in the school did artwork, projects etc work based on different countries and a parent visited each classroom to talk in more depth about their country and to answer any questions the children had.
We are a diverse and inclusive school and this day is a wonderful example of everyone in our school community working together.
Thank you very much to everyone who volunteered on the day. Each time we run this event it gets better and better and that is down to the hard work and committment of everyone who helped.
