UNDER 11'S GIRLS FOOTBALL
On Friday 20th September our Under 11's Girls Football team played against Gaelscoil Nas Na Riogh. The girls played well and gave their everything in the match but unfortunately the result did not go their way. And we wish them the best of luck in their next match.

INTERSCHOOLS SHOWJUMPING LEAGUE
We are delighted to have Lucy Gaffney represent Holy Child School at the Interschools Showjumping League this year. Lucy and her pony Zazu competed in Coill Og Equestrian Centre on Sunday 22nd September. She did us proud with a super clear round in the 70cm class and just one pole down in the 80cm class. We look forward to hearing how she progresses throughout the year. Well done Lucy!

On Tuesday 8th September we had some very important visitors to the school! The Naas senior Hurling Team won the county championship last weekend and the team came in to show the children the trophy.
A lot of the children in the school play with Naas GAA and no doubt there will many more victorious teams in the future with past pupils of Holy Child School on the team.
